Morning

Good morning to you all.  Anybody find any more details on the Booger's Trevon Reed?  Tigerdroppings (which I refuse to link) and elsewhere have rumors that he broke his collarbone at the end of the game Saturday.  The Boogers aren't confirming or denying.

There wasn't anything on the local sports report this morning about it.

Trevon Reed was hurt during the FAU game; maybe just a rumor that it was a collarbone.  Here's confirmation that he was injured.

I refuse to let that ruin my day.

That you, Sar?

Brantley was banged up in the Kentucky game (ribs). He's coming along nicely, Weis said.

Weis said Brantley was "out there flinging it today. We gave him most of the reps." I think he's glad game is still a few days away.

Weis said he will throw the kitchen sink at Tide defense. They're going to get plenty, Weis said.

"I can get better. I still have a lot to work on. The season's early right now. I still have to work a lot on my pass pro and I missed a couple of my reads last week, left a lot of yards on the field. I know I could have done better. In my head, a 126-yard game, that's a good game, but I know I can do better." - UA running back Trent Richardson.

Did you know?
UA wide receiver Marquis Maze has appeared in every game of his Alabama career (45) dating back to his redshirt freshman season in 2008.

Tidebits
UA linebacker C.J. Mosley, who is questionable to play against Florida with an elbow injury, participated in some individual drills Tuesday. Mosley was injured against Arkansas. ... Linebacker Chris Jordan also participated in individual drills Tuesday. Injuries have prevented Jordan from playing in UA's first four games. ... UA coach Nick Saban will hold a post-practice news conference Wednesday.

CJ has been playing great. He would be missed against UF. I still would rather give him another week, rather than this turning into a season long nagging injury. I don't have any personal experience with a dislocated elbow. Is hscoach still here?

I know dislocated shoulders are no fun. Done it to both of them. (separate occasions)

He's gone.  But just looking at the photo of his arm extended backwards makes me think it'll take quite a while to heal.  Surely the ligaments were stretched, strained, or torn.
