Coffee Beautiful morning here in SoWeGa too - 54 degrees with a bluebird sky.  Feels like a good day to scrimmage   Cheesy

I've got a bushel of oysters iced down to graze on through the day during breaks in the action and ribeyes marinating for a pregame meal   Grin

Roll Tide   Wink
Sounds good. I can't get the oysters by the burlap sack, and even the jarred oysters are those east coast blue points-- they're only good for a laugh!

Whew. I'm good. Woman just had me taste test spaghetti sauce. That'll go all day. Probably mozerella bread and stuff. Whew!
Leftover roast beef Po'boys for this afternoon. I forget about her buying the Po'Boy rolls. Still fresh tomatos from garden.

BTW, the Point auxs Pins oysters are good, but I would go with Grand Isle oysters from Louisiana side.

I've never looked up calories before, but 57 calories per 1/2 dozen oysters. BFD

Now look up Ribeye & Boston Butt.

And I'm guessing baked potato, fully loaded and a gigantic salad with avacado, black beans and honey mustard dressing. And that's just at Leroy's.
Isn't meat low carb and okay? IDK. The woman likes to talk about this stuff.

It is low carb and that's the diet I've been on, very low carb. That's why I look forward to weekends. It's the only time I can have potatoes. This what I'll have later today......

That's a dang good lookin tater  Tongue

WV, I buy my oysters from a lil mom and pop grocery store that sells seafood that's delivered every Friday.  These were harvested on Thursday and I bought them yesterday.  Apalachicola Bay oysters have been fat and very very salty so far this year because of the low flow of freshwater from the river into the bay.  I just went out and shucked and sucked about a dozen for breakfast and these area as delicious as all the others have been.

To be sure we are still on the same page--I like 'em salty,--fat, juicy, salty. RTR

Beautiful Saturday morning here in Decatur. I just put a 10 lb. Boston Butt on the smoker.  Tongue  It should be ready just before kickoff.

Seems like, since we're playing the Rebel Black Bears, maybe you should be cooking Virginia Ham, Confederate butt, or Roast Bear.  Come to think of it, Roast Bear might not be good.  Sad

One of Mobile's most famous local chefs is Wesley True. He lived/cooked in Oxford for a long time.

Morning boys and girls. Sunny and 70 degrees here in Mo-beel. Happy Gameday to all, and may the Tide lay a great butt whoopin' on the Rebel Black Bears this evening. Got the wings and fried pickles ready to go and some beers chilling in the fridge. Also hoping the Gators take a big ole bite out of the barn's butt.

I thought about an in-game for Mich-Mich St. but the Michigan jerseys don't deserve an in-game. The woman said they look like construction warning signs.

I am about to head out for the pee wee game.  I should be back shortly after the morning games finish to put in the scores and see who is in the lead today.
