It's things like this that are driving the "trick or treaters" away. I live in a nice little neighborhood on a dead end street. We hardly get any either.

I'm running back and forth delivering candy to the goblins tonight.  We usually have just an occasional kid, but this seems like a good year for the little monsters.

We ended up this evening with 1 kid. She was looking kinda hesitant to walk all that way, so the woman ran down to meet her halfway, or we would have gotten skunked.

We really didn't feed the little monsters anything but Indian Corn! Boy they love it too.

They probably tested control/test groups with various baskets (not too big/not too small) before selecting that particular basket. Nothing is by chance--closely choreographed.
