I had a good day building (putting up tongue-n-groove walls) and hauling firewood to the woodpile.  It was a beautiful day outside.  I got home in time to watch Eli help the Giants come back to beat NE.  Unfortunately I didn't see Atlanta or New Orleans.

Hope you guys were able to enjoy the day too.  Roll Tide.

I won more money playing golf today. Empty victory.  Sad Until I got home to see that Bama only dropped 1 spot. It's on corndogs!  Evil

"Good morning."  Undecided

Good Morning Chech and everyone else.

I've still got a little of that  Undecided feeling going on this morning also but I'm trying to shake it off by looking ahead to next Saturday.

I'm back at work today for the first day in a couple of weeks.  A couple of months ago I was diagnosed with laryngeal cancer and began weekly chemotherapy treatments last Wednesday.  Two weeks ago I had surgery to remove all of my teeth and hopefully my mouth will be healed well enough for daily radiation treatments to begin next week and they will continue 5 days a week for the next 6 weeks.

Bama football has been the one little bit of sunshine in my life this fall and last Saturday's loss really hurts.   My purpose for sharing this is not to gain sympathy but merely to put things in perspective.  I know that Bama football is just as important to all of you as it is to me, but, it isn't the end of the season.  I'm not a quitter...I'm a fighter and one loss doesn't end the season for me.

There are more games to be played and a lot that can still be accomplished by this team if they don't quit. Lets all get over the hurt from last weekend and put it behind us.  It's time to rub some dirt on our wounds and get ready for the cow bells next Saturday...and the boogers yet to come.

Roll Tide Roll

I had not read your post when I followed it with my earlier post.  God bless  you and your family during this time.  Maybe the Tide can fight its way back into the BCSNCG and give us all a little more of that sunshine.

Aren't you the little soldier. I never would have guessed, conversing back and forth, that anything was wrong. Hang in, Brother Leroy.

My very first post to you was almost prophetic:

"Leroy Boy, is that you? I heard your post hanging days were through..."

Wow!
