It sounds like your boy works pretty hard and is pretty responsible.  My suggestion would be to give him a budget and tell him to go do some research and figure out which one to by.  Maybe have him come back with 2 or 3 options and explain them to you and make a recommendation.  Ask him questions to make him explain and justify the choices he makes.  Then give him the money and let him go buy it.  Good practice for when he is out on his own spending his own money.
LOL--What if he just says, "Pick up your own leaves"?

Not a bad idea with Dillon. He can use the math/judgement exercise, maybe as much as anyone I've ever seen(lol). He tries too hard to please me. I could work him to death, like the horses running all day and night on a cowboy movie, and he would never say a word.

Sounds like he needs a vacation more than a leaf blower. Do they have child labor laws in WV?  Wink

Laughing Tell him to go jump off the house. A minute or two later, a big crashing sound outside, Mrs. BAMAWV clinging to his leg where she tried to stop him. LOL

I havea Poulan leaf blower. It is 15 years old. Runs great. I don't blow leaves. I wash my HD motorcycles and use it to blow the water off. Works great. I tried to look up the blower online and it is too old to have listed.

BTW, I had a Stihl leaf blower.  It was Heisman-quality, but didn't always show up for practice (unless I sent Coach Quickstart to encourage him).  I kicked him off the team during a Friday auction, and repacled him with a Toro electric.  The Toro is fast; not as powerful as Stihl, but MUCH more dependable.  Toro runs well on all sorts of fields (leaves, pine straw, snow).  If you go electric, Toro is the way.

Tell Coach Quickstart I'll probably go with the local recruit. Stihl pacle right down the road, where Lowe's and Home Depot involve a 3-4 hour round trip.

Coach Quickstart is currently unemployed, and I can recommend him highly.  He is reliable, trustworthy, and doesn't shower.

It's suddenly 60 degrees outside this afternoon; 34 this morning.  Yesterday I posted a photo of some foreign school.  This is Ventress Hall at Ole Miss.  I'm sure there's a coed in one of the windows if you look closely.

It is 62 here and we had our first frost of the fall this morning with a temp of 31.

Great architecture, but I've been staring at the windows for some time now, hoping for a glimpse of coeds. I think CAT may be pulling our leg (non-sexually of course).

I have a question about the MSU game. I know Alabama buses the team to Starkville since is only 80 miles away. When will the team leave? Since it is a night game will they travel tomorrow or will they travel today and spend the night and most of the day tomorrow at a hotel? TIA

UA_ATHLETICS usually tweets that info. Today they are tweeting BB info for tonight's game.

I did find this out.

Headed to Starkvegas now.

I don't know the answer. But this came up in the PSU conversation as to where their team or Nebraska will stay. Back when I was in school, when computers were made of wood, teams always stayed away from State College, Tuscaloosa, or Starkville. I think a UGA game, in which we lost, broke Coach Bryant of that. The band circled the hotel, playing all night, to where the team had to drag their mattresses into the hall.
