I have a 9AM meeting, but wanted to add.  It's Etowah Iron Works, not "Etawah".  If it's misspelled, then .... [you know]  Embarrassed
It was as I posted--ETAWAH. Man. You wouldn't think the Mennonites would rip you off. Yeah--I Googled Etawah and got Etowah-- I saw that too.

It wouldn't FEEL all that fake if someone popped you on the bridge of your nose.

Actually, "Etahaw" may have been an appropriate spelling of it on some items produced there.  I've seen that on other CW items.  People weren't ever good spellers in the US.  The Confererate currency produced from near here (Holly Springs Bank) was printed as "Holley Springs, Mississippi" on the currency.  We just need to see for sure.  But swords from EIW were stamped "Etowah" - HTH.
But the CSA marking would rule them out as authentic, or simply suspicious?

Also of interest is a difference between mine and the 30 or so examples I have seen pics of today. The others are rounded on the hitting (business) edge. Mine come to points, multiplying their "visciousness" by a bunch.

You know that Elvis still holds the record for pre-sale albums.

I forget which one that was announced for pre-sale before it was released and produced, but it sold in the millions in pre-sales alone!

CSA is a red flag.  Misspelling is a red flag.  After a while you're better off selling flags.

Elvis' birthplace is here in Tupelo.  Otherwise, he lived in Memphis.

Yes, he's left the building (the big left).

In 1973 had a chance to see Elvis with my parents in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Hotel. We went to Ceasers's Palace instead and saw Petula Clark and Joan Rivers.

I didn't know much about either of them. Mother liked Petula Clark, and Joan Rivers joked about having kids.

I always figured I could see Elvis at another time!

Through a vendor of the company I worked for, I received 2 tickets, 2nd row center, to see the big "E" in Montgomery's Garrett Coliseum. My SIL would have bore Elvis' children (as it turned out, she practiced the ritual with several people while married to my brother), so I gave them to my brother to take her. Elvis died 2 weeks later. I blame my SIL.

Elvis' death was definitely due to your SIL--well known fact. BTW, pics?

These are a different style-- I couldn't find an image to post. Think of the ones you posted as gloves, a separate hole for each finger. These are like mittens--one large hole for your hand. Wicked.

Any markings?  PM me with a pic should you have/take one.  I'll take it to the show tomorrow.  I know a guy who should know better than me.
I was wrong about the finger holes. I had to go get it. CSA
Etawah Iron Works J.B.F. 1862 I'll get the woman to take a pic. May I can go on Pawn Stars. RTR
Probably in a font that was just created.

Unfortunately, "CSA" means it is almost certainly a fantasy (fake).  "CS" alone would be okay, but "CSA" is a red flag.  But it's still likely valuable (lots of interest and chance-takers out there).

The government was officially the Confederate States of American (CSA).

Not really into that scene, but I guess, willing to learn. Huh? Foul play involved in her death?
