What is this, a cat fight?  Yes, MW directed his mean-spirited attacks at me.

LF and I went out to dinner.  It's cold out there (38), so I'm glad we're home and snug.
I mean spiritedly  pointed out mean spiritiveness in you.  The first mention of "mean spirited" was made be me, directed at you. You are mean spiritively confusing the already confused. HTH

I just saw on ESPN that the NCAA has granted tOSU special dispensation where Fickell will be allowed to coach the team for their bowl game, while UM handles the recruiting. Has that ever been done before?  Huh?

I remember Michigan hiring a new coach, and when the old coach offered to stay on if needed, he was dismissed by Bo Schembechler: "I want a Michigan man coaching Michigan."

That's the first I've ever heard of that. That's an optimum scenario for a university. I just wondered why nobody has ever tried it before. Of course, co-operation from the outgoing coach would be a must.

Work-related insomnia.  I'd rather sit, write, and drink coffee than lie in bed and think of what I should be doing.

Result:  I've finished a letter and am progressing on a publication.

I'm working on the recruiting pages for the site.

Good idea.  That's a topic that should get more interest than it does.  I usually follow Scout for recruiting across the nation; they seem to update daily.  Nice to see who commits each day.

Near the bottom of their home page is a chronology of the latest commitments.

"Good morning!"

I go straight to the "how for is Bama ahead" page. Scout and Rivals.

You could sort by player quality:
1. Alabama commitments;
2. Thugs and drug addicts (Miami, USCw, UTe);
3. Skinny; speed only (Big 12, West Virginia, Oregon);
4. No heart (Notre Dame, Big 10);
5. Somewhat fast white guys (Penn State, Big East)
6. Slow, white guys (ACC, UAB, Memphis)
7. Long snappers and other LB rejects (Aubrun, McNeese State, Troy)

Bwaahaha. Sort by over/under on time it takes to pick a hat. I particularly enjoy the ones that the networks cuts away from (hard break) before the recruit finishes thanking his entire posse.

Liked your possee comment - true.

If you're really bored, go outside and watch the lunar eclipse this morning.  If it's too cold, or if you're too comfy, enjoy the schematic I provided below:

Morning. I Missed it all except the inside of my eyelids. That was rather enjoyable, however.
