Both teams are undefeated at 6-0. Cincinnati is ranked # 17 in the AP poll, Tide is 26th, so we can break into the Top 25 with a win. Cincy leads the nation in rebounding, meaning they are a force under the basket. This is what they have been known for the last several years. Big, rugged, & physical (not to mention thuggish when Huggins was there).

Quote
The Bearcats lead the nation in rebounds per game (49.2) and that will help any team win games. Cincinnati is also good at sharing the ball, averaging 16.7 assists per game. Sean Kilpatrick is averaging 21 points heading into a big test against Alabama.

More info on the Bearcats. Our D will have to be great.

Quote
It culminated last year with a 26-win season and a trip to the Sweet 16. After six games and an undefeated month of November, Cronin and his Bearcats have shown that this is the best team since his arrival back on campus as the head coach.

Unlike many other talented Bearcats teams of the past who did it with big men and a slower pace, this group does it with excellent guard play and an up-tempo offense that currently ranks seventh in the country at nearly 87 points a contest. They also lead the country in rebounds with over 49 a game.

Tough test for the Tide.

Playing in Cincinnati while all their friends are home watching football.

Looks like a busy day for TIDE Sports fans. I don't like the sound of muscle and rebounding under the basket. If we hit our outside shots and draw them out that should make for some baskets underneath. JMHO. RTR!

Cincinnati is a good team. By far the best team we have seen so far this year. This is also our first true road game. We will find out a lot about our team today. We will have to hit some outside shots and hold our own in the paint. We will need a good defensive effort and make this a low scoring game.

Roll Tide.

I think they can hold their own with Cincy, but it will be a tall order to come out with a "W". Cincy doesn't need to look past Bama, however, since the Tide did beat an Oregon State team that only lost by 6 points to Kansas last night, at Kansas.

I don't want to play them close... I want to win.

19-10 Cincy with 8 mintes left in half. Their D is really tough under the basket and we are not hitting outside shots. We are hustling for every ball, but we have to hit some shots.

They're showing it on ESPN Classic, but that's not part of my DTV subscription.  Why can't they show it on ESPNN like they usually do?  Because they're showing the Oklahoma game there, in addition to the network coverage.

25-20 Cincy, but Tide is actually out rebounding them. Great hustle by Tide.

TOO MUCH DRIBBLING & PASSING!!!  SHOOT THE BALL!. Releford hits 3 to end half. 33-27 Cincy.

Cincinnati up by 6 at half time.  Releford scored 5 points in final minute or so.  Hits a 3 at the buzzer to cut the lead 33-27.

Cincinnati started out hot, but Bama settled down and worked to cut into the lead.  Hopefully they come out in the second half and keep it up.
