I think this is Exhibit A in the case to remove this computer from the BCS ranking calculation

By not allowing computers to consider margin of victory, that takes away an important calculation.  And while they did it so teams wouldn't feel compelled to run up scores, they could at least allow margin of victory to be considered up to some point total, like two or three scores.

Did the entire computer portion of the BCS formula pick us #2, or just the one service (Colley Matrix) have ND ahead? I cannot find a year end BCS poll in its entirety because I think the final one came out before the bowls. The AP and USA TODAY/Coaches polls have us a consensus #1.

But the Colley Poll result is a great example of what has happened all season. The computers keeping the Big12 teams close (and I guess ND). The Colley Matrix says it doesn't take MOV into account, only wins and losses. But having ND ahead of Bama tells me they are not paying much attention to W/Ls either. Maybe they rely on "the most cows per team logos". (just kidding HL)

Running up scores on defenseless non conf teams should not be considered. MOV should not be considered but certainly, head to head should get a generous appraisal.
