We lose 4-0. We only got 5 hits.
We play Game 2 at 2:05 tomorrow.
7-2? Tulane pitching some badazz? He has a 1.20 ERA after 2 decs.(1-1)? Their pitcher today looks good too. He has a 1.35 ERA are 2 games (13.1 innings) although he has a 0-1 record.

We have got to hit the ball better. As a team we are batting .251. Until yesterday we were scoring runs but we were getting help with walks and errors. Yesterday Tulane walked one batter and did not make an error.
We get another shot today at 2:05.

After 4 complete innings Tulane leads 3-1.
Bama has only 1 hit. Too many lazy fly balls and easy infield ground ball outs.

We have bases loaded and no outs.
We hit a sharp line drive to SS who doubles up the runner at 2nd. Our DH strikes out to end the game. Tulane wins the game 6-2. Tulane had 11 hits to our 9. Game 3 tomorrow. We need to win that game to avoid a sweep.

So far in this series we have used three different designated hitters and combined they have no hits and 6 strikeouts. Can we not find some lard azz big guy who can't play a lick in the field but can rip the cover off a baseball with the bat?
