Jackie Traina didn't start in the circle for Alabama on Saturday, but she was ultimately the difference-maker.
The junior clubbed a three-run, go-ahead home run in the sixth and pitched two scoreless innings to preserve the lead she gave the Crimson Tide in its 5-3 victory at South Carolina.

The win was No. 4 Alabama's third in a row after it lost three straight in games last week against Florida and Tennessee. It clinched the Crimson Tide's first SEC series victory of the year.
