Both teams are ranked in the Top 10. Two of the best pitchers in country. Missouri's record is 22-2 and 7-1 SEC. This will be a real test for the Tide. ESPNU thinks this is a good matchup. They will air both the Friday and Saturday games.

Quote
The Alabama softball team (33-5, 8-4 SEC) will welcome Southeastern Conference newcomer Missouri (22-2, 7-1 SEC) in a three-game weekend series at Rhoads Stadium. The two teams will begin the top-10 matchup on Friday, April 5, with first pitch slated for 8 p.m. Saturday will begin at 2 p.m., and the Sunday matinee will take place at Noon. Friday and Saturday's matchups will be televised by ESPNU with Beth Mowins and Jessica Mendoza calling the action.

Great game so far.  Bottom of the third, no outs, and Bama has a 3-0 lead

A good game. I saw Mr. & Mrs. Jamos regularly throughout the broadcast. Jamos, in particular, was trying to keep that darned umpire straight.

Nice win over a quality Top 10 opponent. Traina tried to make it interesting in the 7th. We play again at 2:00 today.

Ha, yeah that guy was a piece of work, he needs to be a plate umpire for teeball. I didn't get to make the game yesterday, I was at the scrimmage but he must have been pretty ugly. This team is lacking the leadership that they had last year, but the season isn't over yet.

Just a heads up to those of you that will listen to the game today, they have changed the starting time to 11:30 this morning instead of noon per the email from the Athletic Dept.
