"Alabama landed a big 2015 commitment on Monday morning, as five-star Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure quarterback Ricky Town committed to the Crimson Tide, according to reports on Rivals.com and 247Sports.

Town (6-4, 298)  , considered the top 2015 pro-style quarterback prospect in the nation and the No. 3 prospect overall by 247Sports, camped at Alabama in June and reportedly impressed the Tide coaching staff. He also had offers from USC, UCLA, Arizona State, Stanford, Florida State, Georgia, Miami and Texas..."
