I read up on the Meppel Red Giants and they are like a minor league team for pro BB in Europe. They are 12-14 & 6th in their division. The attached link gives a good breakdown of their team along with a rating of each players skill by the European Scouting Consortium.

Nice win by the Tide. Meppel did not look very good in the highlight video. We were able to drive to the basket too easily. Most of the highlights were layups. It will not be that easy in SEC play.

I was hoping to hear how the new guys performed. I can not find a box score. I noticed Taylor had two baskets in the highlights. He has a nice soft hook shot. I have seen him use the hook shot in both the practice and first game video. In Coopers video he was giving complements to his teammates and mentioned Jimmie blocking a lot of shots.

Good win to open the 5 game trip.

The players seem to be having a good time.

Good win for the guys, especially playing under the international rules, which requires them to play a little different style than usual. Love seeing the scoring parity, too.
