My Dad went to graduate school at GT.  He always loved that cheer - it gave him an excuse to use the H word. 

LF's Dad went there too.  Lots of good stories about Atlanta during the old days.
He's in his 80s.  He probably bought the car new back then.

Jesse Palmer's Florida education showing through.Talking about VT getting the ball near midfield, he says "Logan Thomas could throw the ball to the endzone from his knees from there." Rece Davis, the Alabama graduate, remarks, "But if he did that, he would be down." And he wonders why his NFL career didn't pan out.

Nice.  According to the Smithsonian:

As the game continued to change, the football evolved to accommodate new rules and new plays. Most notably, in the 1930s, it became longer and slimmer as the forward pass became a more dominant–and more encouraged–part of the game.
