Found this while searching for a GT image.  Cool.
My Dad went to graduate school at GT.  He always loved that cheer - it gave him an excuse to use the H word.
LF's Dad went there too.  Lots of good stories about Atlanta during the old days.
He's in his 80s.  He probably bought the car new back then.

Did everybody on the team have a number in the 30's?  Weird!  Great coaching trick back in the good ole days.

Georgia Tech Fight Song

I'm a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech and a hell of an engineer,
A helluva, helluva, helluva, helluva, hell of an engineer.
Like all the jolly good fellows, I drink my whiskey clear.
I'm a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech and a hell of an engineer.
Oh, if I had a daughter, sir, I'd dress her in White and Gold,
And put her on the campus, to cheer the brave and bold.
But if I had a son, sir, I'll tell you what he'd do.
He would yell, "To Hell with Georgia," like his daddy used to do.

Oh! I wish I had a barrel of rum and sugar three thousand pounds,
A college bell to put it in and a clapper to stir it round.
I'd drink to all good fellows who come from far and near.
I'm a ramblin', gamblin', hell of an engineer.

Yeah, the car is old, but the ornaments still look pretty good.

Jesse Palmer's Florida education showing through.Talking about VT getting the ball near midfield, he says "Logan Thomas could throw the ball to the endzone from his knees from there." Rece Davis, the Alabama graduate, remarks, "But if he did that, he would be down." And he wonders why his NFL career didn't pan out.

GT vs Auburn (1921).

Check out that pumpkin.  No wonder all of the passing records came 40 years later!

Must be Aubs on offense.
Only Aubs would wear a flat helmet.

Nice.  According to the Smithsonian:

Quote
As the game continued to change, the football evolved to accommodate new rules and new plays. Most notably, in the 1930s, it became longer and slimmer as the forward pass became a more dominant–and more encouraged–part of the game.
