Crazy Ed has been a head coach before and he is strictly there until they select a real HC. Orgeron was the D-line coach for USC when they did all that winning under Pete Carroll.

He is not head coach material. He actually had some decent recruiting at Ole Miss, but couldn't make it happen on the field.
