This is the problem, no one knows all the NCAA rules, no one.

If he did something illegal then he would be able to claim a degree right? He was illegal in one place then he should not be allowed the benefits to any thing concerning the school. RTR!

Gotta wonder if the compliance folks ever told the athletes (in any sport) about this rule.  If I was an athlete, this would be one I'd remember.

I wonder how long it would take to go through the bureaucratic red take the NCAA would require.  Probably he would get his loan after he was in the NFL.

From my understanding, it happens so often that it is pre-approved.  All you do is give him the money, then file a paper with your conference noting that you utilized this program.

Well the coach should have been aware of that.

This was an assistant S&C coach making about 47K per year.  I'm interested in hearing more about his alleged connection to agents.

Seeing CNS's love of agents, I can't see him staying on staff if he has any connections at all.

I think that's going to be non-issue for Bama football, but a big issue for the coach.

You have to wonder why Saban did not know this assistant had ties to an agent. I'm sure Saban requires being told stuff by his coaches about possible conflicts-of-interest. That is what will get the coach fired, not telling Saban.

 Dog

And it might be totally innocent.  Maybe an agent called him a few times and he told them to go jump off a cliff, but the calls show up in his phone records.  On the other hand he could have been working closely with the agent and getting paid on the side.  We shall see in due time I suppose.
