I borrowed this post from BamaMag.com. It is too good not to share.
I am friends with a family that their small child Braxton Voss was recently diagnosed with leukemia. I won't bore you with the long story of how this happened, but Braxton wanted to give Kevin Norwood (his favorite Bama player) one of his "team Braxton" orange cancer awareness bracelets. he only wanted to give him one just to be able to say that he had given his favorite player a bracelet. well, Kevin's girlfriend gave it to him and Kevin was so touched by this little boys story that he not only accepted it, but he put it on his arm and has not removed it since. the Tennessee game was the first time he wore this orange bracelet, and you can clearly see it on his arm when he caught a touchdown pass from A.J. McCarron. as if that wasn't good enough, he has had this same bracelet on his arm each time he has been seen on and off camera since. I spoke with Braxton's family today and got their permission to post this, but Braxton has been on cloud 9 since all of this, but Kevin has not looked for or asked for any kind of recognition, but word has got out, and one of the Tuscaloosa tv stations is going to do an interview with Braxton and Kevin this upcoming Monday. I realize that a sports star wearing a bracelet is such a small thing to do, but if you asked Braxton or his family, Kevin Norwood is one of their hero's and should at least be acknowledged for this. there is much much more that I could tell about this touching story, but you should get the gist of it with this. Priceville, Alabama sends a big shout out to big number 83 ! Roll Tide Kevin !
