Watch thism "right cheer" happen...in this order....

Five Stages Of Grief

    1.Denial and Isolation.
At first, we tend to deny the loss has taken place, and may withdraw from our usual social contacts. This stage may last a few moments, or longer.
    2.Anger.
The grieving person may then be furious at the person who inflicted the hurt (even if she's dead), or at the world, for letting it happen. He may be angry with himself for letting the event take place, even if, realistically, nothing could have stopped it.
    3.Bargaining.
Now the grieving person may make bargains with God, asking, "If I do this, will you take away the loss?"
    4. Depression.
The person feels numb, although anger and sadness may remain underneath.
  5.Acceptance.
This is when the anger, sadness and mourning have tapered off. The person simply accepts the reality of the loss.

Reuben, you left out "Hands grabbing ankles".  Smiley

No, for them that will be part of "acceptance."

Or, maybe, Bargaining, I am not quite sure.

I know how Ohio State fans. feel. When you are at the top like Coach Tressel or Coach Chizik, everybody is trying to bring them down.

This may be one of the stupidest things a barner has ever said. If I were a tOSU fan, I wouldn't want to be mentioned in the same category as them.

Lack of institutional control is tops here. All these players got this gear and traded for services. What part of this doesn't the school understand.

On a side note. These OSU fans sound like many of us in the dark time surrounding our probation. We echoed many of these same sentiments. Be careful.

So true. I hope our program never goes through a period with sanctions again. I have had fun at tOSU's expense, but after our dark time all I want to see is justice and NCAA treat all schools equally.when sanctions are envolved.

It will be more than a "couple of years" of impact. If the sanctions are severe, it will take at least 7 years to recover, maybe more.

I love this observation from the article also..........

While it felt like a funeral for Tressel here Tuesday, it also felt like a burial for Pryor.
