Barn beat writer predicts boogers to go 5-7

Barn beat writer Evan Woodberry predicts the boogers to go 5-7 this year. He also says that if they can go 8-4 it would be a solid year.

Boogers lose to Clemson, So Car, Ark, Florida, LSU, Georgia & Bama.

I can agree with all of it except one: Sept. 10 I think Miss. State will beat Auburn. Supposedly the 2 weaker teams from last year, but Miss. St. plays defense. I say when you think about it the score would be by 3 to Miss. St. or more. RTR!

Herbstreit said that a good season for the Barn would be bowl eligibility this year, 6-6.  While I would prefer no bowl, it wouldn't be terrible to see the Barn in Shreveport either.

If they get bowl eligible they will buy their way into a better bowl. Two years ago they jumped from the Nashville Music City Bowl to a New Years Day Outback Bowl game in Florida. They agreed to buy all the tickets that did not sell or something like that.

Funny that I've heard a lot of Alabama fans screaming about Evan being an Auburn homer.  While he's assigned to the barn beat, he's a Bama alumnus and former sports editor of the Crimson White, which causes many Auburn fans to scream that he's anti-Auburn.

I wonder which group will be screaming about this 5-7 prediction?  I'd go somewhere between 5-7 and 7-5.

The boogers better get ready for every teams A-game. Defending national champions are pointed to on every bodies schedule.The barn has a 5 game stretch in the middle of the season that make or break them. I guess it will break them.


The boogers open up with Utah State, then MSU and Clemson then FLA. ATl. They may go 3-1, maybe 2-2. Miss. St. will be tough with the players they have returning.After that it is tougher starting at USCe.

Boogers record is hard to figure. Young offensive and defensive line. Unknowns at QB. Hard to guess at a record without seeing how they play.
