I thought the men's golf team dropped the ball and didnt make the NCAA's?
They made the NCAA Tournament and did indeed drop the ball as to making the final cut of teams that would move on to the Match Play part of the tournament which is how the National Championship is decided.
They not only made the NCAA Regionals they advanced to the first stage of the finals with 25 other teams.
They blew up (pun intented since the high wind was an issue) on the last day and did not advance to match play. Only 8 teams made it to match play. They went to the NCAA tournament ranked # 3. All-in-all not a bad year.
