I think this has more to do with the other sports than football if my memory serves me correctly. I think it is Tennis to be more precise. RTR!
Tennis is included but so is football.
This is the first major infractions case for Boise State. Five separate Boise State programs violated NCAA rules: football, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's track and field. The football program committed a series of minor violations when coaches arranged for incoming student-athletes to bunk with athletes already enrolled at Boise State. It is against NCAA rules to arrange for housing, and to receive discounted meals and housing.
In all, 63 football players received improper benefits totaling $4,934. All that money has been repaid and donated to charity.
