White was a high school prospect prior to Saban's tenure with Alabama. Former Alabama running backs coach Sparky Woods told Rivals.com that the Crimson Tide had little interest in White, who had a decorated career with WVU from 2005-08. Mike Shula was the Alabama head coach during that timeframe.

Woods told The Tuscaloosa News, "I didn't recruit Pat, but I remember he wanted to be a quarterback. I remember a discussion that we weren't going to recruit him as a quarterback. That was kind of a closed book on him pretty early because he wanted to be a quarterback."

1.  No way he, or anyone else, was offered anything by Alabama with Shula in charge during that time.  Had this been during the Dubose years, then it would make you wonder if he was telling the truth.  But we had just barely avoided the death penalty and Shula was brought in mainly to babysit the program while we were on probation.  Say what you want about his coaching ability, but he ran a squeaky clean program.  There's no doubt about that.

2.  We didn't even want him.  Even a dirty program doesn't offer cars to players they don't want.  The quote above from CSW is the way I remember things actually happening.  You know, here in the real world.

3.  The university needs to sue this clown.  They sue Daniel Moore for making paintings, a bakery for making Alabama themed cakes, and some company from Georgia for making items with the houndstooth pattern.  Leave those people alone.  They do not harm the university, and in fact contribute to the enjoyment of the fans who buy the tickets.  The statements made by this lowlife, and other similar false accusations, do actually harm the university.  Hold these attention ****** accountable.  Even if the case is eventually thrown out, make these idiots defend their statements.
