Dayne Shor announced his verbal commitment to Alabama football Saturday.

Shor is Alabama’s 14th commit in the 2022 recruiting class and their second offensive line pledge. He chose Alabama over Oklahoma, Oregon more than 30 other D1 programs. The Crimson Tide remains hot on the recruiting trail in July with Shor’s commitment. He is the sixth 2022 recruit to commit to the Tide this month.

BAM!!!

EXCELLENT.  Hope his shoulder isn't an issue.   Huh?

Boy, whatever will we do without him?

Let the speculation begin.

1.  Too crowded for him.

2.  Can't stand the competition.

3.  Grades are an issue.

4.  Already in the doghouse.

5.  His favorite number was already taken.

Well I have come to learn something from the decommits. Commitment in this day and age has no meaning whatsoever to kids today. They have never had to work for a living like, plow a mule to help with crops. School grades mean more than the sports in school. Saying yes sir or yes mam kept us from getting a plow line whuppin. Well anyway we wonder why our government is so messed up it is called no commitment except to your own person. I hope I spelled it out well enough for some to understand. If I would have went to auburn I would have been committed. RTR!

He has not ruled Alabama out. CNS tells recruits if you are going to shop we are going to shop. His scholly may not be available when he comes to his senses.

Bottom line is we are going to win with him or without him.

"New commitment Jake Pope out to prove himself at Alabama"

For the second time in the last three recruiting cycles, Alabama is back at Buford (Ga.) High School, this time landing Jake Pope, one of the top defensive backs in the Southeast. Pope chose the Crimson Tide over Georgia, North Carolina, Notre Dame, and Ohio State.

"What stands out to me most about Pope's game is that he's just a smart football player. He is always in the right spot, he can read and react quickly and at receiver he has shown to have more speed than sometimes he's given credit for. At safety, Pope can diagnose the play quickly and then he doesn't hesitate to come up and make a play." ...

Dancing

Alabama was actually one of the first programs to recruit and with Elijah Pritchett in the fold they rise three spots to No. 3 in the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings as Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide pursue a 10th No. 1 recruiting class over the last 12 cycles. Pritchett joins fellow blue-chipper Tyler Booker and Dayne Shor as the defending National Champs put together another terrific offensive line haul.

Top247 offensive tackle Elijah Pritchett is a team leader and standout player at the point of attack for one of the Peach State’s top high school football programs in Columbus (Ga.) Carver. Following his senior season he’ll cap his prep career playing in the All-American Bowl.

The 6-foot-6, 280-pound Pritchett will then head to Alabama. The blue-chip recruit chose the Crimson Tide over Florida State, Georgia and USC among others announcing his plans during a live broadcast on CBS Sports HQ.

Five-star point guard Jaden Bradley commits to Alabama

Quote
And just like that … Alabama basketball’s class is off and running. 2022 five-star point guard Jaden Bradley announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide, picking Nate Oats and company over Arizona, Gonzaga, Florida State, and Kentucky, among a long list of other suitors. Bradley is the first commitment in UA’s 2022 class.

I just saw on ESPN where he is the #8 ranked player according to ESPN, and the #1 ranked point guard. Huge haul for CNO!
