Hello Sir.

Yes, it is much cooler in here today.  That hillbilly engineering I rigged up yesterday actually works for now.  I bought this plain old fan from Lowes (click here), took it out of the frame, and mounted it on top of the unit to pull the air through there.  It has been running great ever since.  I figured if it didn't work at least we would have another fan to use in the house until we get it fixed.

Now I just need to figure out why the real fan overheats.  It could just be a bad fan motor, even though it is new.  Maybe I can figure that out over the weekend.

Hey SC you got it fixed did ya? I am glad, we don't have air conditioner in the house we use box fans it is a lot easier to figure out what's wrong. Just buy another box fan. lol, RTR!
