ESPN: Bednarik list includes 5 from Alabama

The Bednarik Watch List for the best defensive player in the country is out and 5 Alabama players are on the list. The most of any team.

Not surprisingly, Alabama has five players on the list (the most in the country) and LSU three players. The Crimson Tide and Tigers figure to be the top two defenses in the league this season. The only three SEC teams that didn't have players to make the list were Auburn, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

1. Vandy has someone in there and the boogs don't

2. Barn has as many on there as Ole Siss and State.

If these facts don't make the boogs feel good, nothing will.

Nice list but I had one on there I am a little scared of and that was Dre Kirkpatrick. Last year he was beaten several times and was scared to tackle it seem to me. I may be wrong but he ducked his head a lot. JMHO. RTR!

The "experts" are predicting Dre Kirkpatrick as a high first round draft pick.

I may have missed it but I think the Maxwell (offense) list is out too  MFBATR?

There are so many watch lists out now I quit trying to post them all. They all have one thing in common. Bama has at least one player and in most cases multiple players on every list. The barn players are not showing up on any lists. You have to have good players to play and compete in the SEC. I think the barn is in for a long year.
