Ohio State issued a 66-page response to the NCAA's Notice of Allegations against the Buckeye football program, but those 66 pages could have been condensed into six words: "it was all Jim Tressel's fault.'
Essentially, Ohio State contended that almost all of the wrongdoing stemmed from Tressel covering up and lying about a memorabilia-for-cash-and-tattoos scandal. I had to re-read the entire report just to be clear Tressel hadn't done the actual tattooing. That's how thorough OSU was in pointing the finger of blame squarely at its former head coach.
