I heard them talking about it on the radio today. That's a real shame. The kid is a real gamer.

Yeah, sad news.

The story about his injury was cited in the night-games thread, but this article confirmed the torn ACL.  So I posted for everybody to see.

Gurley is the best RB in the SEC, and will be a good pro.  Hope he recovers enough to get a worthy draft spot.

If I was him, I would get my knee strong and back to good running back strength and then I would go Pro. No more college game to possibly end my career. I wonder if his legs are insured? One of the guys from GA. did that one time, I think it may have been Herschel Walker. RTR!

Man I always hate hearing this kind of stuff. The injury by the Georgia Tech running back on Saturday was gruesome, it reminded me of Drake's injury. This is the hard thing about football.

That is a bad thing for him and for UGA's future opponents.  Chubb will now be the feature back for Georgia so anyone that plays them will get a full dose of what he can do.  Everyone says that Gurley is the best back in the SEC.  He may have been to begin the season but since he was suspended Chubb has been incredible.  I'm not sure that he isn't better, just younger and shorter...

We play Georgia the next 2 years and will get to meet & greet him. I do not cherish the thought, he is fantastic.

Maybe we need to send Jamos and the REC to Athens to see if he will sell us some jerseys.

Brilliant idea!!! I wish I had thought of it. We need some innocent looking soul who can get him to sign jerseys for money, like $5,000 worth.

I think he was injured late in the game after Auburn had already been pounded down. Not a great move by the coaches.

There's still a very strong chance that we'll meet him in Atlanta this year.  Missouri still has to win at Tennessee and at home against Arkansas to keep Georgia out of the SECCG.

No way Auburn beats us at home this year, so we'll be there.

Yeah, guess we'll see lots of threads about the SEC CG soon, speculating on whether it'll be Missouri or UGA.  Obviously, Georgia in the Georgia Dome is more threatening.

But for now, we've got to take care of business; beat the crap out of Aubrun.

Yea and first, we have to take care of Western Carolina. Remember ULM? So one game at a time because everybody wants to have on their historical resume' we beat Alabama. This would be costly to us. So we need to keep focused on one thing at a time. YES, I am buying into the "Process". RTR!
