Alexander said the members of the Alabama running back fraternity keep tabs on each other, making sure the Tide's current ball-carriers know what's expected of them. Alexander said he remembered getting a call from Johnny Musso, Alabama's first 1,000-yard rusher, just as he's been in contact with current Tide running back Derrick Henry.
"You can't just come to Bama and be good," Alexander told Edholm. "You have to be special, and you have to pass it on."
