I kid about the barn, and their athletes have done plenty of stupid stuff, but this is beyond simply making fun of a rival. This is totally uncalled for, and if Malzahn had any cajones whatsoever, these guys would face at the minimum a significant suspension. Sickening to do this to someone who it should have been obvious needed this dog for her daily life. Scumbags.

It is simply amazing how this works. Tthe amount of negative press that AU can accumulate in a short period of time is pretty startling. In just the past few days, we get AU's Athletic Programs heavy financial losses, allegations of two AU football players harrassing a student military vet aided by a service dog, and AU Men's basketball being "owned" by Anthony Grant. Can't wait to see what else can be squeezed into this week, as there are still a few days left. Yes, our trees did get replaced on Toomer's Corner, so that must have been the positive event that the media felt needed to overshadow.

Yep, like clockwork.

The media in this state are just straight up, low down, filthy trash, and I'm talking about as individuals.  Including "our own" beat writers.

I was just about to post the same thing. Just take a look at the front page of AL.com. The renegade hooligans across the state can beat up students, hit them with their Chargers, sell drugs, etc.- none of that is featured as large as the LEAD story of Gus' apology for a verbal altercation. Also, there's an article that says something to the effect of: "how Auburn spent so much more than Alabama, but retained far, far less in dividends. smh

The national media will know far more about the 2 AU players and this minor incident than of the thugs at bama who actually physically assaulted students, knocking at least one out.
