Alabama DL Jesse Williams: tattooed 'monster' from Down Under

According to a profile in the Australian newspaper the Daily Telegraph, Jesse Williams' most recent tattoo, on his right hand, reads "I stopped checking for the monster under the bed when I realised the monster is me."


Alabama fans hope Williams -- originally from Brisbane, Australia -- plays like a monster this fall, when the 6-foot 4-inch, 320-pound junior college transfer suits up for the Crimson Tide.

 

I hope he is good and helps the center or ends of that 3-4 defense. Last season #58 Nick Gentry - and serveral others played good at nose tackle. Our defensive lineman did not dominate the opposing interior offensive linemen when pass rush was needed.

I know the offensive line will dominate this year. Can our defensive line dominate"?

 In the bowl game Bama's defensive line crashed MSU's QB Cousins.

I thought they did great. Did they do this because of Barron's injury and protect last years secondary? All out blitz? Will we see more of this?

To win another title. Bama defensive lineman will have to dominate.

I know. I came up with "Donk" from "Crocodile Dundee" & Jesse's dad logged on & said it was an unflattering term in Australia. I'm good with "Monster from down under".

Awesome! I agree with you. I wasn't trying to use Donk in a bad way. He was a loveable tough guy in "CD" and I thought it flatteringly fitting. Actually, Jesse's dad said he didn't think Jesse would like it, not that he had a problem with it himself.

said he is very proud of Greg and that Greg is living out his lifelong dream
I told him they did a great job raising him and that The Capstone was a
better place since he was there.. he thanked me . that was about it
haven't seen him online in a few days now though ... he is probably busy , lol !
