Rumors have been swirling about this for a few weeks now. As talented as he is, I hope he doesn't come to Bama. I think it sends a bad message to the QB's on the team and to recruits. We can win with who we've got. Time to develop Cornwell and Barnett for the long run.

Hey 2, I am in total agreement with you. The one and done thing ain't good for us when our guys are ready to breakout and they know our system. RTR!

Finebaum mentioned this on his show. He said a source in T-Town said there was a chance Miller would transfer to there. Several Ohio State fans called in & said good riddance & they didn't need him anymore.

tOSU really doesn't need him anymore, and Braxton knows it.  Having him come to Bama and be our starting QB isn't the way most of us want to win.  (On the other hand, if Braxton comes in and leads us to an undefeated season and a NC, think how we'd feel about that.)

CNS knows more about our QB situation than any of us, so if Miller comes here.... well, we'd know why.  2 is right that this would send a bad message to our current QBs, but it also tells them that they have to get better.

But overall, I'm with 2....hope this doesn't happen.  IMHO, it just doesn't pass the smell test.

Nick Saban responds about B. Miller rumors.

Quote
A few hours after Paul Finebaum hinted at the possibility of Alabama landing a high-profile potential transfer, Nick Saban arrived in Huntsville to kick off the Crimson Caravan tour.

Saban did his best to diffuse the chatter involving the potential Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller could end up at Alabama.

Can he play RB?  It might be interesting to have a RB that can throw the ball too... Cool

I know Paul F. usually is straight up in his shows. Sometimes i wonder if he does stuff like this to keep his ball bouncing a little better. lol, I know it don't sound like him, but how could he know this? RTR!

There is also a good chance that, after the injury, Miller is only a shadow of himself.

I don't see how he could go to any major school and only practice at fall camp for a few weeks, and then make a significant contribution to that team in his one and only season.

The 'reliable source' reports on other forums are saying that Miller is coming here for sure.

Now again, I think he might play another position but he would be so far behind in the playbook he would need a couple of years like Jake maybe. JMHO. RTR!
