Alabama is seeking a stronger pass rush

Alabama linebacker Dont'a Hightower expects the Tide to have an improved pass rush this season.With the inexperience back there, it comes as no surprise, but when talking with players now, they feel like an area that the team lacked ferocity and consistency was the pass rush.

Alabama ranked sixth in the SEC with 27 sacks for losses totaling 177 yards. During Alabama’s 2009 national championship season, the Tide collected 32 sacks for losses totaling 265 yards.

A good pass rush helps the DB's and good DB's help the pass rush. I think both will be improved this year.

It has to get better if Bama is to make it to the championship game, last year was terrible.

Upshaw is going to be a man after the meat. Is Josh can get any kind of good speed on him he will be a wild man. I am not sure of the other 2 linemen but Nico needs to really perk up at LB spot and he could help out our Pass Rush. RTR!
