Auburn defensive end Elijah Daniel was arrested and booked Wednesday on several theft- and burglary-related charges, according to jail records.

Defensive end Elijah Daniel was booted from the Auburn football team Saturday, less than 72 hours following his arrest on multiple charges of burglary and theft.

Several dorms in the South Donahue Residence Hall, which many Auburn football players call home, were burglarized during spring break in late March. Residents reported "various electronic devices and jewelry" were stolen during spring break, according to the Auburn Police Division.
