Saban said, "It starts with a 'b' and the second word starts with an 's' about what you say about these guys really affects them in a negative way. It really affects them in a serious way. So you can do what you want to do, but I love them both and I rub their neck every day. I believe in them. I trust in them and they're going to do a better job."  ...

It's not like our special teams have not been a problem for many years. I still think Bobby Williams has pictures or something on Saban. Williams is the one consistent through the years or should I say the one inconsistent. Saban gets upset because he knows it's true.

I understand what coach is saying about keeping their confidence up, but the fact remains that Bama has consistently had kicker problems throughout Saban's tenure. The best kicker we had was Jeremy Shelly, and he couldn't kick more than 40 yds. Saban knows defense, he knows game planning, and he is the greatest recruiter in college football history, but he does not know how to manage special teams. That's his biggest weakness, and it has hurt us on multiple occasions. It's a legitimate concern for anyone that follows Bama football.

  e-cred to ya for having the courage to say the truth.  , When CNS left Michigan for lsu Bobby Williams took over. He couldn't take the recruits CNS left and do anything. He is just not a ST coach. I don't know if he is good at recruiting or not but CBW maybe should be placed in another area to keep him employed. Maybe Coach just don't want to admit he is human and made a boo boo by putting Coach Williams in that place on the team. I know we have a kid with a foot light thunder, and a FG kicker that can hit from 60 yards and neither having a very good time. I do know that back problems causes the whole world to turn upside down and quickly. I am familiar with every pain that be had in the back, but if that is the reason, then Coach needs to find someone without back problems. My first search would be one of those soccer kids from over yonder somewhere that can kick a ball 80 yds in the air. Then teach him to kick FG's from 60 yds. Tom Dempsey did it one time from 63 yds and he didn't have any toes. RTR!
