I really don't know what to think about the SEC teams & their performances so far. I am still not sold on LSU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, & Georgia being a Top Ten team. I think Georgia is probably the real thing, just need to see more. LSU has zero passing attack & that will catch up to them. Auburn & Arkansas were obviously way overrated. Tennessee may soon join that list. A confusing & fascinating season at this point.
I don't think Ole Miss is a great team. Lucky, but not great. They will lose when their luck runs out. I don't see them beating LSU, but their remaining schedule isn't too hard, with Vandy and Florida from the East, and playing the Aggies in Oxford (the week after the Aggies play Bama), which is a toss up at this point. Hardest road games are @ Florida and @ Miss. State.
LSU is solid as usual, with the only weak link being the QB (as usual). They have a superstar at RB who takes the pressure off the QB, and requires defenses to stack the box to stop the run. Fortunately, Bama's strength is its front 7, so that matchup favors Bama. I don't put too much stock in their win v. Auburn, which is terrible at stopping the run.
I haven't watched enough of Georgia to have an opinion on them. Solid team not doubt, but they haven't played anyone. Their biggest challenge of the season is in two weeks, when Bama visits, and we'll know more about them then.
Aggies look like the Aggies, explosive offense, still surrendering points on defense. They'll be undefeated when Bama plays them.
Verdict is still out on Florida and Tennessee as well.
