and the count went up .
not sure how this works really but I saw the total on your points go to a higher number
and it did on mine when you did it I believe .

so ... someone in the know can answer
I would like to know too ...
if you get a custom name title does it cost e-cred points ?
or if your rank changes  ?

not that it matters , just trying understand how this works

It is just a simple counter.  I'm not sure how useful it will be, but I like it so far.  Just a way to give somebody a pat on the back, or smack down win called for. 

So basically when you click applaud their e-cred goes up by 1.  When you click boo it goes down by 1.  Once you vote for someone you can't vote for them again for an hour.

There aren't any permissions or special benefits associated with it, it is just to let the "gilmers" know who the reputable people are when they first come.  We all know post count doesn't tell the story.  At least this way it is not base on post count, but it is possible for people to get together and game the system.  We'll have to see how it works out.  I may replace it with something a little more sophisticated down the road.

Is it just me, or is the color scheme more pink than crimson? Just wondering. I'm sure you guys are working on it, and it's not really a big deal. I just don't want Bama to change their nickname to the Pink Tide? LOL

Yep, this was just a quick and dirty red version of the original blue theme that came with the software.  I am working on some real graphics for the site and I hope to have something in place by the end of the weekend, if not sooner.

Things are looking good. I will be spending most of my forum time here at CRS, and I want to thank you for going through the trouble to start this site for us nomads from Tidesprotz. One question. I was wondering if there was a way to do something similar to TS and WA where you can view your post in the forum after you post. Right now, it goes straight back to the index after I post something (unless I am missing something, which is what my wife would probably say  ). Thanks again, bro, and keep up the good work.

There is also an option to take you back to the same topic after you post in case you want to continue reading.  I think it is in the profile section somewhere to turn it on.  This software has tons of options.  I'm still learning my way around as well.

Yep, it's on the to do list.  I know we need a popcorn and a rotfl and maybe a couple of lol's.  Are there any others that are just missing?
