I'm willing to learn, but when kids refuse to cooperate with police, screaming and yelling in protest, reciting their rights and such crap, then I get it. Maybe the police overstepped the boundaries of legality, but the kids were brats. That should be illegal. So should her mouth!.
Some people said the same thing about folks crossing the Petus Bridge in Selma.
To me, police officers are paid public servants and should act professional regardless of their egos.
It looked to me that the initial officer on the scene went looking for a fight. He got mad with the student declined to come speak with him, so he banged on the door ready for action. He was the one who escalated.
