My BIL went to UVA.  He called this afternoon, and said simply:

Dino Babers is an offensive-minded coach. He's coached all over the place, including, Arizona, Purdue, UCLA, Texas A&M, & Baylor, to name a few. He's 54 years old. Good for him.


Chris Ash is a D guy with coaching experience at Iowa State, Wisconsin, Arkansas, & Ohio State. 41 years old.

It wasn’t the season that Will Muschamp had envisioned when he became the defensive coordinator for the Auburn Tigers, but as it turns out, it may have been just enough to get him another head coaching job.

Reports say that Muschamp has stepped down from the Tigers after just one single season:

I don't get it.  He failed as a head coach at Florida.  In one year at Auburn as DC the defense was awful in the first half of the season and showed moderate improvement in the latter half of the year.  His sideline antics against Bama were an embarrassment.  Now he's ready to be a head coach again?  Welcome to the bottom half of the East for the next decade, South Carolina.
