Ricky, MD and I don't usually see eye to eye on anything, but, this is sound advice.I have had 2 back surgeries and a neurosurgeon can re route the nerves and alleviate the pain.

Hey MD I use the VA out of Birmingham. They of course use the doctors over at UAB and the head Neurologist over there DR Mark Hadley is my main Neruo. He is the one who says it will never be better. RTR!

Dr. Hadley has an outstanding reputation. He worked on a brother of mine who is a Navy Vet. He had to clean up a mess an ortho doctor did. A damaged back never really gets better, it can be stabilized so it doesn't get worse. Hang in there.

Hey MD how is your brother? i hope he is well, I can assure you probably knows the pain I feel at times. A back is a back and the pain to match. I tell people a lot you have to have been there to truly know. You know you all will back up on this I know but I've step behind the pulpit and actually felt pain out of 12 years 2 times. It is like it goes away for that 1 to 2 hours. RTR!

Sounds like someone is anti-veteran & insensitive to a veteran & fellow poster's pain & injury. I'm deeply offended. Veterans Lives Matter. My veteran brother & I (also an Army vet) are deeply hurt by this callous thinking.
