Well, we should get to see a David and Goliath battle tonight. Kentucky doesn't do anything fancy, they just throw a barrage of All-American athletes at you and tell you to take your best shot. The worst thing about this game is Kentucky is coming off an upset to LSU and Kentucky isn't used to losing successive games so the Wildcats should have "total destruction" on their minds tonight.

Bama did not play well at Ole Miss but they did have good effort. I think they need to understand what playing under control is and reduce their turnovers as they are the first ingredient in the recipe for losing. Hopefully Hale will start playing with more intensity around the basket as Taylor and Kessons really need some help there, he's just not playing with any intensity rebounding wise. I know he's sat a few games but I just know see any excitement from him when he's on the floor.

Just maybe the young team can put it all together tonight as we have seen them do in some previous games this season and send send Kentucky home wondering what the heck happened. RTR!!!!

Kentucky is young and not playing together as a team yet. IMO it is an advantage to play them early in the season before they start to peak later in the year. We should have a good crowd for the SEC home opener and UK always attracts a near sell out attendance. We are on our home floor. I think we have a chance to win the game. I am not putting this one in the loss column yet.

Jamos is right.  It's not good to get KY after a loss.  They're clearly fired up.

Bama (Edwards) is starting to get into the young player's heads.   Personal and Technical Foul on KY's freshman Labissiere (sp?).  That's already three fouls for him, and he's sitting.

Nice drive Obas.

Kentucky's really good.  I think Bama will be there in a year or two.  They're not out of the game, but it's going to tough to come away with win in this one.

We are getting out played in all phases of the game. UK with a 10 point halftime lead. CAJ has his work cut out for us to be competitive in the 2nd half. We look slow and out of energy due to the late road game on Thursday night. UK looks ready to play and upset they lost to LSU on Tuesday.

Taylor has got to score & rebound around the basket. He's the key.
