35-14 Boise State. Richt is on the scalding hot seat for sure after this game UGA looks flat and just plain bad.

The way Bama's line played today they could.

Welcome.  Have a fun day?

Yes I did, I sat there and watched the whole game just to see the young guns play some and the weather was great.

Couldn't tell much about Jesse, but he seemed to hold his own.  Did you notice him?

He played ok but he's no Cody, yet. He's going to be a force but he's got a ways to go, in that I mean he will get smarter and lean how to use of all of that strength that he has.

I think our DL played the run EXTREMELY well.  They weren't letting KSU's OL get to the 2nd layer PLUS they were coming off their blocks and getting to the runner before the LB could even hit him in the gap.  Pass rush could be better, but I imagine we didn't show even 10% of our blitz packages.

Penn State was all run offense today; maybe 100 yards passing.  Should be a good challenge for us next week (in the rain??).

Now we have to listen to Boise whine all year.  Best thing to happen is UGA lose the rest of their games.

I was very satisfied with the D today.  It wasn't much of a test, but they did what they were supposed to do and showed no discernable weaknesses IMHO.  Maybe the O was just focused on the passing game in order to audition the QBs and once we have that settled they can get things going with the running game.

We also had some issues on special teams, which we have all been expecting since the spring.  I hope they get that worked out before we get to SEC play.

Yep, I would like to see Georgia finish at the bottom of the SEC East.

DeAndrew White (sp?) had a pretty good first game.  But the first time I saw him with the ball I told everybody here that he needs to work on ball security and he would probably end up fumbling if he got enough touches.  He walked off the field with his head down after the fumble.  I'm sure the coaching staff has been preaching ball security to him but evidently he hasn't been listening.  Maybe now he will take it seriously and get that little issue fixed.  It was a teachable moment, and something that can definitely be corrected with a little effort.

Nah.   He's been roasting on the hot seat they installed in his office.

He definitly needs some work on his ball handling. He's going to get killed on kick returns, he runs too straight up.

There were several issues like that during the game.  Gives us something to work on.  Gene Stallings seemed to understand that it's better to just win a game, not slaughter the opponent,  Teams keep working if they're hungry.  I don't like blowouts and shutouts.

We'll be okay, IF WE CAN GET BY PSU.  I'll be chewing my nails next week.  Snowing

He fielded a heck of a beach volleyball team today.
