Cooper Bateman has been Alabama's most consistent quarterback this spring and appears to have a lead on the other three scholarship quarterbacks. Saban told ESPN this week that Bateman would be the starter if the season started today, but offered the caveat that the good thing is he doesn't have to make that decision today. Saban has spotlighted Bateman multiple times this spring for his strong play during scrimmages and has said that the rising junior has received the most reps with the first-team offense.

I hope he shows us something Saturday. Actually, I hope they all do.

I am so looking forward to Sat. and hearing everybody's report. I expressly want to know what the O-line looks like even though it is against our 2nd team. You have to admit our 2nd team is better than 75% of the first team lines we play on our schedule I am thinking. RTR!
