I saw something something in that game that I haven't happen in a very long time. The Auburn pitcher and catcher set up for pitchout to intentionally walk the Bama batter and the  pitcher threw the ball over the catchers head allowing the Bama base runner that was on second to advance to third.  Laughing

The barn pitcher air mailed an intentional walk pitchout. It was a thing of beauty. The barn was is not a very good fielding team. The official scorer charged them with 2 errors but it could have been several more.

We struggled to score runs again last night. We had 11 hits, 2 errors and 6 base on balls and only scored 4 runs. We left 12 men on base. We had a runner throw out at home and another at third third.

Will Haynie hit a bomb in the 9th to put the game in extra innings. His second homer of the series.

Pitching was strong again. The play-by-play man said our magic number is 4. If we score 4 runs we normally win.

We go for the sweep this afternoon.

The barn took Game Three 8-1. We win the series. We are 27-21 and 12-12. The loss to a bad Auburn team dropped our RPI to 61. We travel to Arkansas this weekend to play the struggling Hogs. We need to win that series. The final series against South Carolina at home will be very difficult.

This baseball team is so up and down. I just don't get it. They have their work cut out for them if they plan on making a regional. Arky is not very good this year, but beating them on the road will still be tough. SC is a very good team this year and will be a tall order, also. Just hoping for the best, here.

Well 2 you know what CNS says all the time. CONSISTENCY wins the job. This is what it seems we are missing this year. RTR!
