A former standout defensive lineman at LSU, Dunbar was LSU's strength and conditioning coach under Saban from 2001-02 and later returned as the Tigers' defensive line coach in 2005 under Les Miles before heading to the NFL in 2006.

I wonder if this hire might have have an indication that Cochran might still have some plans of leaving the program since he will have satisfied his tenure requirements now. It's a wild guess on my part but everything CNS does seems to be well planned. I haven't heard anymore on the Cochran to Georgia thing and hopefully we won't hear anymore about it.
