Holy Cow!  Never seen/heard CNS like this after a win.  Watch the video.  Only about 7-mins.

Considering how poorly the offense played, he was right to be upset. There were way too many penalties and dropped balls, and the o-line didn't play well running or passing. Hurts also missed some open receivers, but that should improve with experience.

He's trying to keep the team from getting overconfident.  Ole Miss is next up.   Sloppy play like we've seen will get a loss real quick.

No, he was just pissed (all game).
Wouldn't want to be a duck shi--ing in his yard after the game.

If I may summarize that PC, per Coach Saban, "We suck.  We sucked last week.  We sucked this week and we're going to suck next week and the week after until we stop sucking."

Seriously, why even bother doing those post-game press conferences?  Everyone knows that CNS isn't going to tell them anything that they didn't watch for themselves...

About a million miles from Coach Bryant's TV post-game comments, where he constantly blamed himself. If a player fumbled, he'd say something like, "Whoops, looky there. We should have spent more time on ball-handling."

While I didn't get to watch that much of the game, only watched a bit of the 2nd quarter while sitting in Greenbrier's restaurant eating lunch/supper, I was able to listen to much of it on the radio.  I couldn't help but notice that we were not running the ball that much or that effectively when we did.  Even CNS addressed that just a bit in his post-game PC.  However, I have trouble believing that UWK has the best run-stopping defense in the nation and that we couldn't run against them.  Really?  We have played against other teams that tried to shut down our run game.  In those, we kept pounding and pounding and pounding the ball on them until they finally broke.  Why was this game different?

Exactly. Are we saving the run for next week?  Maybe we should let the defensive line play offense.

Perhaps we're pacing ourselves.

Maybe they just wanted to take the opportunity to work on the passing game with the young QBs.

That's what I'm hearing. CNS wanted Hurts to get plenty of reps to get ready for Ole Miss.
