With Clemson, Michigan, & Washington losing, what does the Top Four like like? I see:

Alabama
Ohio State
Louisville
Michigan
Clemson
Wisconsin

Michigan beat Wisconsin so I don't see them jumping Michigan. What do you think? The link has last weeks rankings.

Clemson, Michigan, Washington all lose, but what does it mean for the College Football Playoff?

If I had to make a prediction:

1. Bama - Obviously. No debate.
2. Ohio State - Every but Bama ahead of them lost, and they destroyed Maryland on the road.
3. Louisville - Three of the five teams in front of them lost; how do you not move them ahead of those three?
4. Clemson - This is just a guess, probably 50/50 Clemson or Michigan.

Washington's lame schedule will keep them out of consideration this week for sure, and probably through the remainder of the season.

Things are going to get really interesting if OSU beats Michigan (highly likely in my opinion) and Penn St. wins the tiebreaker with OSU and goes on to win the Big 10(+2).  We could end up with Bama, PSU, Clemson/Louisville, and OSU as the four playoff teams.

We could lose to the Aubs and still be ranked #1 or #2 in the playoffs.

Well, maybe.  But let's not test that theory though, K?  Wink

Clemson doesn't deserve another break. NCState had them beaten and missed a short fg that would have won it on the last play. Move somebody else up.

Yeah, I'm wondering about that. They have 2 losses, so to jump 1 loss Clemson & Washington would be something. Plus, they still have to play mighty Purdue & Minnesota.

I think the committee is going to punish Washington for their schedule, even if Washington wins the rest of their games. Clemson is probably in if they win out. Big 10 Champion will almost certainly be in, even if it's PSU or Wisconsin with two losses.

There's still the potential for all kinds of mayhem, but it looks like the PAC12 and Big 12(-2) will be left out this year, and the ACC or Big 10 will get two.
