WV would definitely bring in a new kinda hillbilly to the league.   No offense, WV (poster, not state.  HTH).
Ya'll have Appalachians too, HL.

The Appalachians down here are too busy making meth to pay attention to sports.
Now you want to get into a pissing contest over who has the most meth labs?

It's probably a close race.  WV makers do have it good though.  If their lab blows up, it just blows more coal out of their cave.

If it's true then the SEC leaders must know something we don't.  While WVU is far from the best school the SEC could go after, there aren't many other options for new TV markets.  None of the North Carolina schools are leaving the ACC.  Virginia is ACC all the way.  VT could be a possibility but they seem content in the ACC.  The SEC already has a presence in South Carolina we can pretty much rule out Clemson; same thing with FSU and Miami in the state of Florida.

I would say then that the SEC is looking Westward.  Wink

Yeah. WV has no TV market to offer.

If the SEC is inteserted in WV I think we are looking at 16 teams and not just 14. I still think VT, FSU and Missouri are in play.

I don't see how the Big 12 keeps from imploding. I think more and more that Mizzou, and not my original pick of Clemson, will prolly be the SEC's next member.
