Mets beat Cards 8-6

Braves off tonight, have a 2 game lead over the cards with 6 to play.

I'm guessing they don't play each other again during those 6.

Seems they had to hold on for dear life last year, as well, to make the playoffs.

I'm guessing they don't play each other again during those 6.

I think they have series against Nats in DC and then home to Philly to wind up season. Those last three against Philly could be a postseason killer.

The only positive is that the Phillies are already in and will probably be taking it easy.

I worry as much about the Nats. The Braves always have trouble with them.

Over the last month they've had trouble with everyone.

The Cards have the Cubs at home for three and then they go to houston for three. I'm betting the Cubs would like nothing more than to knock the Cards out of the race.

Lots of people do.  I'd be upset if you're rooting actually affected the outcome.
