As many of you know I was trying to hit some very hi-mark fitness goals this summer. With the untimely death of my father-in-law, and breaking a rib while out of town (while visiting for my FIL's funeral) those goals were not met. My running is now WAY off base. I am presently working full time, remodeling the house (one room at a time) and going back to school, and trrying to spend as much time with my son as possible. While looking for some way to get back in the swing of things I found "OmniFit." I am hoping that I can find a total of 1 1/2 hours a week to take care of myself.
Anyway, here it is. It's like cross fit, but incorporates prayer and Christianity. ( to bad the name " Cross Fit" was already taken, it would be perfectly suited for this, with the double play on the word "Cross.") They actually meet at a large church (on a large property) near my house on Tuesadays, and Thursdays, and at a large sports park on Sunday evenings. Both the park and the church are near my house.

He makes up different sets of exercises, usually five per night with the goal of completing all five as many times as possible within 30 minutes. Some of them include four 60 yard sprints, 20 squats and crossovers for 120 yards.
“It’s about explosive workouts. It’s no good unless you’re pushing yourself to the point of failure,” Parrish said. “The spirit of it out there for everybody is encouraging one another.”
